Influenced by the 80's and 90's Radical (tm) styles, Vaporwave is a music genre that is unique, and yet contains almost no original content. All the music is mixed from samples of old video games, elevator music, and smooth Jazz, and the visuals are reminiscent of Macintosh clip art and 90's web designs.
I wanted to take the retro theme further and push the classical imagery to the forefront, so I took the classic visual of palm trees along a straight road into the sunset, and replaced them with Greek pillars.
It's amazing what a few Photoshop filters can do.
